Delete Your PrepMate Account

This page explains how users can request deletion of their PrepMate account and associated data.

You can delete your PrepMate account directly from within the PrepMate mobile application.
- Open the PrepMate app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your account deletion request.
Once confirmed, your account deletion request will be processed and your associated data will be deleted or anonymized as described below.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your PrepMate account, the following data associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized:
- Account information, such as name and email address
- User profile information
- Uploaded resumes and resume-related extracted information
- Interview history
- Interview questions, responses, scores, and AI-generated feedback linked to your account
- App usage data linked to your account, where applicable
Data That May Be Retained Temporarily
Some limited information may be retained temporarily where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment verification, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.
Such data may be retained for up to 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
If You Cannot Access the App
If you are unable to access your PrepMate account or cannot delete your account from the app, you can contact us by email.
Include your registered email address and mention that you want to delete your PrepMate account.
